Rosaria Pipitone’s professional journey is deeply influenced by her identity as a
first-generation American and college student. Navigating her path without parental guidance, she drew inspiration from her immigrant father’s resilience in supporting their family through his music career. Originally from New York City, she relocated to Tampa to enroll in the University of South Florida’s program, notable for its accreditation in the CACREP Counselor Education Program, particularly recognized for its unique career development concentration.
Her career began as a graduate intern at the University of South Florida’s career center in 2009, culminating in the attainment of an M.A. in Counselor Education. During her studies, she served as a career consultant at USF’s College of Nursing, assisting unemployed veterans and pioneering the integration of career services into classroom settings.
Rosaria received multiple leadership awards for her Innovation in Student Services and advocacy through the United Nations @Empoer_Women #IamWoman campaign, showcasing her resilience following her survival of brain surgery in 2015.
Currently, Rosaria serves as the Associate Director in Stockton University’s Career Education & Development team, specializing in Employer Relations. Additionally, she operates as a private consultant, providing nationally recognized certification training to institutions such as St. Petersburg College, Tuskegee University, and Rowan College of Burlington County. In her prior role as Associate Director at Rowan University, she spearheaded the establishment of the Career Advocate Network. Having certified over 150 colleagues in career development, she stands as an authority in career theory, assessments, counseling various populations, ethics, and more. She also previously held the position of Past President at the New Jersey Career Development Association (NJCDA) and maintains an active role within the National Career Development Association (NCDA).
In addition to her professional pursuits, Rosaria is involved in real estate investing and is an enthusiastic chess player.
